WILLIAM'S ARTIST'S STATEMENT: Bill began painting in 1972, after receiving oil paints for Christmas. Bill is a self taught artist, creating his own unique style. Bill puts down his colors in broad, dashing strokes of the brush, never really 'finishing' any of the details, so that the completed painting keeps the freshness of a first sketch, with a photo likeness.
