GINGER'S

    ARTIST'S STATEMENT:

   "My name is Ginger Kenney.  I am a 32 year old mother of three.  I enjoy raising my children, oil painting, and gardening.

   I have loved art, since I was young.  I won several poster contests, during my school years.  I really only did sketches and cartooning then.  I didn't start enjoying oil painting until I took a home art course after I had my second child.  Now it has become my passion.

   Mostly, I enjoy painting landscapes or nature scenes.  I also enjoy native american art, such as paintings of Indian maidens, one of which won an award at the Jefferson County Fair.

   Basically, I am just a good ol' country girl, who enjoys creative paintings of nature and all its beauty."
