CARING FOR YOUR BONDED BRONZE
Cold-cast Bronze or ‘Bonded Bronze’ is made of a resin epoxy that was blended with a high quality powdered Bronze, and then poured into the rubber mold of the original sculpture. This is the same mold I use when making a Hot-cast Bronze, only a Bonded Bronze sculpture is about 1/8th the cost. Marble dust mixed with the resin is frequently used to fill the piece after the Bronze shell has been made, the same mixture that is used when making Bonded Marble sculptures.
After hand cleaning, sanding, & tool trimming, the Bonded Bronze reproduction is sprayed with a protective clear acrylic coating followed by the finishing brown polish for a warm luster affect. I suggest that you keep your Bonded Bronze art work out of direct sunlight and possible dust, although it can be lightly dusted. The shine can be refreshed with a light rub of a clean soft cloth. You may choose to apply more polish over time to renew the luster, please write or call for instructions as it is a heat applied polish. The classic dark walnut base has a polyurethane semi gloss finish over a secret mixture stain, and should not require maintenance. Any questions feel free to contact me at:

The actual sculpture is water proof, but the base is made of wood and should not be exposed to moisture. If you need to do a light cleaning with water, hold Tina upside down so the water drips off the sculpture and not onto the base. Make sure to dry with a soft towel so the the drops do not cause spotting, distilled water may help with that if there is a water spot problem. The base should require no maintenance. Try to avoid direct sunlight, and dust with a soft cloth occasionally, avoid scratching surface of TINA. With good care, TINA should last a lifetime!
