"For over forty (40)
years, I worked as a Senior Telecommunications Engineer, with 'The Bahamas
Telecommunications Corporation', retiring in the capacity of Senior Deputy
General manager.
After retiring from the
Corporation, for eighteen (18) years, I operated a private business registered
in the name of 'Bethel's Electronics', specializing in the sales &
services of major appliances.
For health reasons, I retired a
second time from active work.
I have since engaged in a
'hobby' - painting in oils on canvas. I am self-taught.
In March of this year, I held
an Exhibition entitled "A Tribute to the Old Masters" at the Gallery
of the Central Bank of the Bahamas.
I have also produced portrait
paintings of the former pastors of the age-old Anglican Church - Saint Agnes -
located in Nassau, Bahamas. The eight (8) portraits of the former
Pastors represented a 'Thanks Offering' for my recovery (miracle) from Heart
Surgery. These portraits were on display in the Church, and Blessed on
the occasion of a Dedication Festival by His Reverence The Bishop.
Recalling Chapter 7 verse 7 of
1st Corinthians, "Every man has his proper gift of God, one after this
manner, and another after that".
I look forward to, and pray
for, a successful and happy relationship, and may God Bless abundantly this
'Living Gallery'."
