It takes 8 pounds of feed for a cow to produce a one pound steak,hmmm, 8 pounds, that's alot of food. I n 2005, the USA feed 64% of the grain she produced to...food animals.In 2006, that number increased to 70% 8 lbs food to 1 lb meat, do the calculations... If we took all the grain feed (corn, oats, soy, etc.) that we give to the animals that the meat/flesh eaters eat, and feed those grains instead to people, humans, not only would it put an end to starvation around the world, but there would be enough excess to store for the world's lean years.
Are YOU part of the problem?
The consumption of animals supports world hunger,this is against God's instructions in the Bible.God created this earth to sustain us, but only in the way He designed: Genesis 1:29 - And God said, "Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat." Genesis 1:30 - And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
...and then, there is the Pain and Torment to God's animals caused by the 'taught as a child' practice of eating them... We choose, in the 'Richer' cultures, to crush and eat God's creatures, this is a dominating cruel choice for your lust for the taste of flesh, its not a health issue. Infact, since our bodies were never designed to properly process ingested animal flesh, the consumption of animal flesh causes many fatal and chronic diseases, it is not a healthy choice for humans by any means. Flesh eating, although a USA & European cultural focus, causes Juvenile Diabetes, Stroke, Heart Disease, Breast, Colon, and Liver Cancer, Immune Disorders, to name a few. Eating God's creatures against His design, may satisfy our prideful nature by dominating weaker creatures, and may stimulate your taste-buds, but it also destroys you and your children's health. Was the living creature, the one created by God, that was murdered for your desire for a fleshy hamburger tonight, alive when she was skinned? Or alive when her feet were cut off? Was the pig screaming when they dunked it into scalding hot water to loosen his skin? In a slaughter house do they often die piece by piece for you? Do you as a 'Christian' meat/flesh eater still think you are living in God's will? If so, then watch the above video, 'Meet your Meat', and the three below, then tell me how YOU Honor God's creatures by having them abused and murdered for your desires, pretty hard for a logical person who claims 'love for God' to do that.Remember that God is always watching you, your behaviors, and your actions. YOU are responsible for the pain YOU cause to happen. Every time you buy meat to eat, you are paying someone to do it again to God's beloved creatures. You want God to be more in your life, yet look at the things You do to push His love away. In other words, How can you claim to love God when YOU cause so much pain, terror, and death to His creatures. If you show no compassion to the innocent, how do you expect Him to show any to you?
