This is a taste of the
excitement of the tour,
we were all so very lucky to see as many of the
TES eles as we did! The true magic was being there at
TES,
hearing the voices of Carol, Scottie, Joanne,
Kathy, Shawn, and all the others talking to us, such
interesting stuff.
To touch and feel the Sanctuary, it was like a dream.
For those who will never be able to do as I did, please see
these photos and live thru me, for
those who have considered going, but was unsure, WOW DO IT!
You will remember it forever!
It only lasts a couple of hours, but they are a real
wonderful memorable couple of hours!

This is Suzanne! She had a trunk full of goodie bags for all of us and our name badges! There's our favorite head asian ele keeper JoAnn! What a thrill!
And there he is, in the flesh, Scottie
MAN OF THE YEAR!!!!!
We meet in the main city parking lot, they had an area church's bus donated for the trip, bus with kind driver, what a deal!
She did a great talk as we drove to TES! Helped us all to feel warm and WELCOME! We are driving up the main white driveway to the main buildings. To the right is the main barn with the office on the top floor, off picture to the right, is the big main pasture with the girls!
The building on the left is the quarantine barn, use to be the work shop converted back to ele barn for Delhi! Talking this picure, Delhi is in her corral to the left off picture, WHAT A THRILL TO BE HERE!!!! Scott was very informative about TES, he is very intelligent, although I have meet Scottie before and actually was his chaffer with TINA, it is always a great honor to meet the guy that our sweet girls love and adore. He is such a great asset to TES

Carol walked us back down the driveway to see the sweetie DELHI! Yummy watermelon for Delhi! hehe
That is Carol's head by the way, she's so cool! There's my great niece, 13 yr old Heather
Kind of a 'posed' smile, but she was trying, haha Here's another photo of Delhi from the last trip,
she looks sooo healthy now! As we walked back up,
I looked back and saw she had laid
down for a nappie!
It was so cool, she is soooo sweet! Joanne gave her a watermelon, which she immediately took(toke) her foot and gently 'popped' it open, then gobbled up the sweet goodies! She wants to come back one day and be an intern, YEE HAW!!! She's always eager to come along on her Aunt Marcella's adventures
Get watermelon, nappie, get lovin, nappie, play with ball, nappie....what a great ele retirement plan!! hehe

Back up to the barn, that open door you see, it the opening
into the main barn, stalls, area, Delhi is soooo close! The colorly painted door is the keepers door Here is the top of the stairs with a running balconey
leading to the far side of the office/barn that faces
the main pasture YEE HAW!!
There is the main pasture, in person!!!!
This is where they backed the trailer up when Tina arrived.
We were all standing inside looking back at this door where she was unloaded.
To the right of the stall door here, is the keeper's area door To the right is the wooden staircase leading to the
office where Carol is! Here we go!
Things are getting cool!!!!! Lets walk over there and take a lookie.... Winkie and Sissy came on down from where
they were at, just in time for the photo shoot!!!

Back up to the barn, that open door you see, it the opening
into the main barn, stalls, area, Delhi is soooo close!

and if you look to the far right of this
picture, you can see the big window Here's those double doors, hmmmmm,
I think we should go thru them and see if we
can spot anyone... Thru the doors, and there is the main barn stalls,
but where is, will you know......... THERE SHE IS!!!!!! TINA!!!!!!!!!!

This is the view stepping into the side door off the top of the stairway balconey.
This is her Master Control desk area! haha
She has her computer there, joystick for the Elecam, moniters, phone, books, etc.
Now standing at the door, if I turned all the way
to the right, I would see the big window
looking out to the big
pasture and also Cathy's area in the office.
If I stayed standing at the door, and looked infront of me I would see a double glass door
leading to a small
balconey that overlooks the stalls,
we see that view on the elecam alot.
Carol can just walk right over and
check on her girlies!

natural homeopathic remedies they use in addition
to traditional medicine to take good care of the girls.
To the left of her, is the stalls area, also a window
looking into the stall area,
seems to be something barely visible in the background, like maybe a toshe???? It's Scottie!!! And TINA!!!!!!
Tina is getting goodies and lovin from Scottie, I love the
open doors, she can walk out and get fresh air
anytime she wants. She is in the middle of getting
her foot soaks. Joanne is filling the foot buckets with
the special ingredients!

NOW TIME TO SEE THE NEW AFRICAN BARN!
WE ALL GOT BACK INTO THE BUS, HOW EXCITING!
WE ALL HOPED WE COULD CATCH A GLIMPSE OF THE AFRICAN
GIRLS, BOY WERE WE IN FOR A THRILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We entered from the backdoor entrance and walked
thru the keepers area Alright we're here!! Where is everybody, well maybe
we missed the girls, looks like someone bit that hanging toy! haha Well look who we found! KATHY! She gave us all a talk on the barn and African stuff, it was good!!!!!!!!

'Hey, whats going on in there??' 'Hey all you humans coming out to play in our mud hole?' Meanwhile, Kathy got some apples and started throwing
them into the water hole to see if they would
get in an play! Tange went running down to play and eat apples
from their beloved Kathy Zula went down for a moment
It's the African Girls, they found us!!!
Hahaha, I was funny to feel that I was looking out the
bars and they
were looking in at US!!! hahaha

playing with Kathy! Zula couldn't resist us though, haha, and had to come
back to investigate some more Such a couple of cuties they are! Carol enjoyed answering questions, she is quite a teacher! This is Shawn, another staff keeper for the Africans,
I call her MY keeper!
She was the intern at the time, that toke(took) care of me after that long 4 day drive with our Tina girl.
She made sure I got feed and bedded down.
What a great keeper she is!

We walked back thru the barn to get to the other side to
see her. We had to be quite, she doesn't like loud
noises. She was interested in all the camotion going
on over by her new sisters
Notice the trees? She has been taking her tusks to the sides of the trees and scaping off bark! haha It was amazing to look at her area how much of the scraping
she had done! Carol said it should be ok as
long as she doesn't totally 'ring' the trees of their
bark, the trees should live, it was interesting.
They are all for sure creating their own savanna! haha
Ohhhhh, we are coming close to the end, how warm and good feeling I had to be there. It just calmed your
heart to be on the property

To end the tour, we headed to the new lake, as we drove, Here we are at the lake, eating our wonderful catered
lunch, time for more
Carol pointed out the spot
that they plan to build the education center, it is high and as
a good view of the sanctuary! That will be a special future
trip indeed!!! questions and answers with Carol and Scottie. I could
see the areas that the girls will probably use to walk
down into their wonderful lake, UOOOOO! How neat! I dreamed of seeing our girls 'lose' themselves as
they floated across their wonderful water. I can't wait
what a wonderful end to the tour!!!!
I miss it all already!!!!
