Membership with The Fellowship
of Christian Artists include a bi-monthly newsletter / booklet, first edition
due out August 1st, 2003, that will carry new information concerning this
organization, including member workshops, member shows, member classifieds for
studio items for sale across the nation, a discount to list their artwork on
Livinggallery, and general information and articles that the members have sent
in.
The beginning will be small, but will grow as the membership grows and submits their information, which all are encouraged to do so, this is to be a great forum and avenue to get your information out to fellow Christians. It will be a wonderful place for stories and testimonies of member artists. All members are encouraged to submit items for review and possible inclusion in the next newsletter, including up and coming shows or recent HOT news concerning their works or new works, all will be considered for inclusion! Just send it in! Encouragement and Fellowship are our chief goals. We want to develop this site and organization to be 'Where one wants to go' to see Christian artists and what they think and do!
TO BECOME A MEMBER OF FOCA!... Come join us! Be a part of a Christian Artist organization that supports and encourages Christian Art and thought!! We need you to support us, so we can support you! In order to run FOCA properly, there is a $15 annual membership fee. Fees will help run FOCA, pay staff, postage and printing of the bimonthly newsletter/booklet, internet costs, and all other fees generally attached to running an organization as smoothly and productively as possible.
FOCA is a non-denominational organization, but as it is a Fellowship of Christian artists, there is a statement concerning Christian beliefs that those who want to become FOCA members should at least consider, but of course, is not a requirement. It is the same statement that most artists on this Christian website have signed. It is the following: I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. I believe that Jesus died on the cross in FULL payment of my sins, and then arose again, as told to us in the Holy Bible. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

The first newsletter will be going out August 1, 2003. As a member, the classifies are free, if you have anything to sell, a TIP to share, a testimony or story related to Christian Art or Art in general, a show you're going to be in, news to tell, etc, please submit to us to list in the newsletter. (Some items submitted by members may not be appropriate and will not be included, or may need to be edited to fit in the newsletter.) LIVINGGALLERY, The Christian Artist Website has agreed to be the commercial website where members of FOCA can list their artwork for a small supportive annual fee. As a member of FOCA, the standard $75 set-up fee for your web pages will be waived. If a FOCA Member chooses to list their works on LIVINGGALLERY The Christian Artist website, Fellowship of Christian Artists members will only pay a special reduced annual fee rate of $35 for up to 10 products pages including your 'About you' page similar to what is currently on the site's artist pages. On the bottom of each product page you will also have a 'counter', this way you can research a design and see how many times patrons choose to look at it from the thumbnail. This is a very valuable tool!
Most artists leave their art pieces the same, as a visual example of their work for people to view around the world. You are able to change any or all of your art pieces with no additional charge every year at time of annual renewal.
You are able to use your own 
account buttons,
and we encourage this, on your pages for the secure credit card purchase at no
additional charge. It is fairly easy to get a Paypal account, we will be
glad to advice you. I myself, prefer to have the patrons email me their
desire to purchase original pieces ( so I can make sure they have not been
already sold) and then I 'email' them a PAYPAL link for purchase, it is easy, we
will be glad to advice you further on how to do this if this is what you also
choose to do.
Being an artist on LIVINGGALLERY, The Christian Artist's Gallery Website , established 3 years ago, will give you a 'presence' on the web, professionalism about your work, and a place people can view samples of your work without living in your town. This address can be on your business cards or advertisement. I have my webpage address on my public art, so that passer-byers can see where they can easily go to view my art in the comfort of their own home, I am no longer dependent on whether or not a gallery has me on display at any given time, its a great way to advertise and get connected! I find few actual original art purchases from my web page, but the connection with my audience and getting my 'name' known is priceless.
