On June 7, 2001, while here in Kansas City for a concert tour at Starlight Theater, where Dream cow was being displayed, Donny Osmond autographed 'Technicolor Dream Cow'. How exciting! A week later, I returned to Starlight Theater to put another coat of UVLS protective Varnish on both cows with extra care to protect the famous man's autograph on Technicolor's colorful neck. When I got there, I was looking for the two cows and asked one of the maintenance people where I might find them, she had a sort of puzzled look on her face, then suddenly smiling said, 'Oh yeh! Your the artist that made Donny's Cow!!', later someone else approached me, giving me the same title! I got a kick out of it, reminding them of course, the REAL name is 'TECHNICOLOR DREAM COW' I beg your pardon! :) Ha ha ha, above are a couple of shots his assistant toke for me of the moment. I was told that Donny was very nice to every one, and said to be 'a real down to earth person'. Thank you Donny for signing my cow!! What an honor!! ...To God the Glory!
NEWS FLASH! Donny's cow sold on Amazon.com for $3,100! She received the highest price of all the other cows in that batch! Hurray for the children at Childred's Mercy Hospital! Praise the Lord!

Hi! My
name is Marcella Smith, the
KANSAS CITY COW PARADE 2001 artist
that created 'TECHNICOLOR DREAM COW' and
'YELLOW BRICK
ROADIE', I later did TECHNICOLOR DREAM BEAR in 2002. Cow Parade
Corp. later made a miniature resin cow of
TECHNICOLOR DREAM COW, but they put the wrong
artist's name (not mine but the artist who did the same titled cow in New York)
on it, they never got it straightened back up on the miniature as they only made
one large 'run' of them, making it a collector's item became it was flawed!
(I would have rather had my name correct on it personally :)
as the true
creating artist.
